Welcome to Milestons Rock...
An Exciting place for kids to experience their Next Steps in their growing relationship with Christ each week!
Our vision- Milestones Rock children’s and family ministries seeks to partner with parents to provide children with a sound Biblical foundation in a fun and safe environment where they grow in their relationships with other children and are guided to become devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who are equipped to boldly share their faith. Our ministry joins families in recognizing and celebrating the spiritual milestones of their children.
Thank you for the opportunity to tell you more about Milestones Rock, the Children’s Ministry at Milestones Church!
How exactly is our time spent in Milestones Rock? First your child(ren) join a small group of children who are the same age, with our volunteer staff called coaches. During this time, they are encouraged to build relationships with one another. Next, all of our small groups move to the center area for large group time. This worship time consists of music, drama, Bible lesson, offering, and prayer time. Then, all of our groups will return to their small group time for discussion questions and application activity.
At Milestones Rock we value safety. From the design of our space to our check-in system to our curriculum we want kids to feel safe. When you arrive on Sunday morning, you will register your child at the check-in station in The STAGE. You must be present to register your child because parents are provided a security number with which to retrieve your child. Once the service is over, you will pick up your child at the same check-in station by showing the security number provided at check-in.
Milestones Rock Ministries join families in recognizing and celebrating the spiritual growth and development of our children. Yearly special events that mark spiritual growth are designed around stepping stones for families called Mile Marker events. These spiritual milestones are kindergarten entering Milestones Rock, salvation, baptism, and fifth grade entering youth ministry. These events are opportunities for parents and children to connect and talk about these milestones in their spiritual lives.
